Based in Wrexham, Ash Waste has 5 depots in Wrexham, Widnes, Rowley Regis and Barnsley, with a fully audited supply chain and covering over 250 postcode areas, it’s fair to say, they’re experts in their field.

When Ash Waste approached us for a managed print service, they were looking for a provider who offered transparent, hassle-free contracts and a responsive field team that could service print devices across their 8 different locations.

The Challenge

Ash Waste began its search for a Managed Print Service after facing rising and unpredictable costs, poor service response times and late toner delivery, meaning device downtime was becoming an issue. Following several issues, and a contract full of hidden costs, they’d had enough and had lost faith in the services that they were being offered.

Our Solution

Following a visit to Ash Waste to run a comprehensive audit of their existing print infrastructure, we put together a managed print offering that solved each of their challenges. We put together a completely transparent contract, which wasn’t onerous or full of fine print and installed a fleet of 20 brand new multifunction printers across 8 different locations, giving staff in the office the ability to print, scan and photocopy as needed. We set up each device with automated toner monitoring, meaning they will have delivery before their devices run out of toner, ensuring as little downtime as possible. We also ensure devices are serviced regularly by our team of expert engineers, further minimising the likelihood of an unexpected breakdown.

The Outcome

Ash Waste have been consistently delighted by our service since onboarding with us in 2019. We’ve seen a clear reduction in device downtime and low toner issues and their fleet of devices is always up to date, secure and online. Ash has seen a decrease in both cost and waste, following our implementation of printing best practices and waste reduction software.
