Proud to be celebrating 10 years in business

Our Charity

This is a spectacular event, previously held at venues across Cheshire. So far we have raised over £107,000 from the A-T Spring Ball alone. Along with our other fundraising efforts including The Ride London, cycling from London to Paris, various golf days, zip wire experiences and wine tasting events, we have raised well over £150,000 for our charity Action for A-T.

About

In 2012, Directors, Vaughn and Joanne Rawson founded the A-T Spring Ball. Organised to help raise awareness and support for our charity; Action for A-T.

The Story

We have two very close friends with two beautiful twin boys – Zachary and Ruben – who are the same age as our daughter.

Zachary and Ruben have been diagnosed with a rare terminal illness “Ataxia-Telangiectasia”. This horrible, debilitating disease will confine them to wheelchairs in the near future. Apart from the physical symptoms the boys are normal children who will struggle as AT takes hold.

We, like their parents, are desperate to raise funds to go toward medical research to help scientists find a cure, or set back the advance of this disease. Action for A-T are our chosen charity. The founders Emily and Toby have a beautiful daughter Evie who also suffers with A-T so you can rest assured we are all pulling in the same direction and funds raised are going to the best research projects we can find.

The A-T Spring Ball

This is a spectacular event, previously held at venues across Cheshire. So far we have raised over £107,000 from the A-T Spring Ball alone. Along with our other fundraising efforts including The Ride London, cycling from London to Paris, various golf days, zip wire experiences and wine tasting events, we have raised well over £150,000 for our charity Action for A-T.

Some of the funds we raise at the A-T Spring Ball will go to the Zach and Ruben Trust Fund that has been set up to assist Tania and Andy with the expense of wheelchairs and other specialist equipment to help make the boys lives as comfortable as possible. Any help or support you can offer will give the twins, and many other families “hope”, and that is a precious thing when faced with AT.
