Rawson Digital Supports Action For AT

Action for AT is our nominated charity, and for good reason. We have two very close friends with two beautiful twin boys – Zachary and Ruben – who are the same age as our daughter.

Zachary and Ruben have been diagnosed with a rare terminal illness “Ataxia-Telangiectasia”. This horrible, debilitating disease will confine them to wheelchairs in the near future. Apart from the physical symptoms the boys are normal children who will struggle as AT takes hold.

We, like their parents, are desperate to raise funds to go toward medical research to help scientists find a cure, or set back the advance of this disease. Action for A-T are our chosen charity. The founders Emily and Toby have a beautiful daughter Evie who also suffers with A-T so you can rest assured we are all pulling in the same direction and funds raised are going to the best research projects we can find.

We are the main sponsors of the AT Spring Ball. This is a spectacular event held at Chester Racecourse – we raised £18,000.00 in 2012 and £22,000 in 2013 2014 £27,000 and a massive £40,000.00 in 2015.

So far in four year we have raised over £107,000 from A-T Spring Ball alone. With our other fundraising efforts. The Ride London, cycling from London-Paris, Golf Days, Zip Wire, and wine tasting we have raised well over £150,000.

For 2016 some of the funds we raise will go to the Zach and Ruben Trust Fund that has been set up to assist Tania and Andy with massive expense of Wheelchairs and other specialist equipment to help make the boys lives as comfortable as possible.

A big thank you has to go to our many customers, suppliers and our brilliant sponsors without whom this would not have been possible.

Any help or support you can offer will give the twins, and many other families “hope”, and that is a precious thing when faced with AT.
