By day, Stephanie King is a real estate solicitor for Chester law firm Aaron & Partners.
But outside of work, the 26-year-old lawyer takes extra-curricular activities to the next level by training more than 20 hours a week for her next triathlon.
Stephanie recently competed in the World Triathlon Grand Final on Australia’s Gold Coast as part of the GB team, alongside Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee. She finished just outside the top 50 out of over 5,000 athletes and was the seventh British athlete to finish.
The event consisted of a gruelling 1.5k swim, a 40k bike rise and a 10k run in temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius.
But that’s not all. She has pushed herself in dozens of events including the London Marathon, the Chester Deva Triathlon, the Castle Series triathlon events and Ironman, which is the longest competitive form of endurance triathlon consisting of a 3.8km swim, 180km bike and finishing with a 42.2km marathon.
She also came 14th in the European Triathlon Union qualifier in Estonia.
Next she has her sights set on taking part in the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final in Lausanne in Switzerland, for which she has just pre-qualified.
At Rawson Digital, we were so impressed by Steph’s grit and determination that we were delighted to sponsor her.
Vaughn Rawson, Managing Director of Rawson Digital, said: “I’m always impressed when I meet people like Stephanie.
“She is an inspirational young woman who has worked extremely hard to earn her place at these high-profile competitions. At Rawson Digital, we admire her determination which is why we wanted to sponsor and support her.”
Stephanie, who is busy training over the winter to be in peak condition for next year’s season including her second Ironman Triathlon, said: “I love my job as a real estate solicitor and I’ve worked very hard to get my career off the ground but I’m completely passionate about triathlon too.
“Everyone at Rawson Digital has been really supportive and knowing that you have sponsors backing you gives you the extra focus to do well.”
