Our Spring Ball 2013 held at the Chester Racecourse was a resounding success, raising over £22,000 for the Sparks AT Network Fund.
We were proud to have enjoyed the sponsorship of two prestigious local companies – MacKenzie Jones Solicitors who have offices in Chester, St Asaph and Prestatyn as well as Mercer & Associates Wealth Management, based in Chester.
St James’ Place, which is associated with Mercer & Associates, made a substantial donation to the event. Also, Barclays kindly sponsored the event again through their local managers Paul Ffoulkes and Stewart Williams.
The Ball was attended by BBC newsreader Louise Minchin and her husband David, who live in Chester. They came as guests and supported the event by taking part in the charity auction and getting involved with our other guests.
We also had personal messages of support from Dan Ryan, currently starring in the Sky Living sit-com Mount Pleasant as well as Jake Canuso who plays “Matteo” in the sit-com, Benidorm.
